Clear UFO Photo Authenticated

13-Jun-2009
At 2:34 in the afternoon of May 31, the husband of an Unknowncountry.com subscriber happened to glance out a window of their Eden Isles, Louisiana home, which overlooks Lake Ponchatrain and has a wide view of the sky. To his amazement, he saw an unusual silver object hanging motionless in the clear blue, and took what has turned out to be one of the clearest and most detailed images ever made of a UFO.
The shot was taken with a 15 megapixel Sony digital camera with a 300 MM lens. It is not a computer generated graphic.

Unknowncountry’s photo analysts, special effects artist Steve Neill, filmmaker Dan Drasin and web designer Daniel Stegall have examined the image, and offer the following comments:

Dan Drasin:

“I must say it looks convincing. Not at all like what a typical faked saucer might look like. Assuming we’re looking at the front of it, it seems to have some kind of “tail” appendage. And the bottom edge has six or eight round nubbins of some kind. There’s some kind of apparent side protrusion as well, which looks almost like a cylindrical tank, but it could also be a reflection. No idea what the understructure is all about. It almost looks like a separate craft docked inside a larger enclosure. The color and material looks different.

“But these comments are all subjective. At this resolution, the likelihood is that we’re seeing false shapes to some extent. For all we know it might conceivably be one of those silvered Mylar helium balloons that’s partially deflated and reflecting distorted landscape features off its wrinkled bottom. That may be an extreme interpretation, but there’s simply not enough detail here to rule something like that out.”

Steve Neill:

“Whatever this is, after looking at it for some time now, and playing with different filters, I don’t believe it’s a Mylar balloon that’s losing gas and collapsing to form this shape. It very well could be, and I think Dan has made an excellent observation. But the form just seems to angular and sharp to me. Also the pod on its back is very precisely formed and symmetrical. It doesn’t appear to be Mickey mouse ears or any other such appendage that may appear on the balloons they make today. They make such a wide variety today, everything from butterflies to dragonflies I have purchased for my wife on occasions. This doesn’t look like any of them. It’s certainly not a CGI image either.”

Daniel Stegall:

“I agree with what everyone else has so far put forth. It’s an intriguing photo, but largely (and frustratingly) inconclusive due to the lack of other objects in frame.

“I also wanted to put another possibility out there. It might be some kind of UAV. Consider this: Cypher UAV.

“Not an exact match, but close enough to warrant consideration, though because this is a ducted form of propulsion, I would think that if the object in the photo was something like this UAV, its engine noise would have been audible at that distance.”

Steve Neill comments: “Since the SR-71 program was instituted, top secret aircraft are not flown over public areas.”

Wow! If you want to learn about MORE secrets and Visitor experiences, come to our Dreamland Festival in Nashville in June (but hurry, there are only a few tickets left!) And wear the best UFO T-shirt, designed by Steve Neill and ONLY available from us (because the “face” image is trademarked).

I haven't ever taken a shot of the sun high in the sky like that, only when there's cloud cover or shortly before sunset where the atmosphere causes enough diffusion of the light to keep from damaging the sensor. My guess is with Swordmaker. The first clue is that the object is directly in front of the sun in all the pictures. The second is that there's blowing out of the dark objects closer to the camera. In the lower right picture, for example the light blows out the power lines and makes the tower a light gray-blue, instead of a full silhouette. If it were an object, it would similarly have light bleeding over the edges of the object as the light pole and the bridge in the upper right photo. Finally, the object would have to be huge to create that size silhouette

This looks like a pixel blowout to me.

There are several Enochs as RegulatorCountry mentioned. The most recent and best translation of all of them - considering the Dead Sea Scrolls and with scholarly footnotes - is not available online but in Charlesworth's Pseudepigrapha vol I.

Didn’t you have a source location where one could order it once?

Sorry to bother again. Will put it on the bottom of my ping list this time.

I’m not one to “deflate” every single purported image of a “UFO,” but this one seems pretty clear. It’s a silver mylar balloon, with a flower silkscreened on it, yellow in the center and purple around the edges. The “protuberance” mentioned is where the balloon is tied off, and the string attached. The other details mentioned are due to the seam around the outside; it’s reflections off of puckers in the silver mylar.

Flower on a balloon. Sentimental. Not taken around Mother’s Day, was it?

Sure, you can buy a copy of Charlesworth's "Pseudepigrapha" on this Amazon link.

But it is pricey.

You might be able to find it in a public library. But it is not on the internet. Moreover, the translations of Enoch available on the internet are quite old, inferior and do not have the scholarly commentary to put things in perspective.

That’s the sun. The black area is made up of pixels that have saturated on the camera’s CCD chip. The sun’s image can be more clearly seen in the lens flares near the bottom of each shot. Also note the directionality of the shadows. They all point away from the “UFO”.

In what ways are the original 1821 Laurence translation inferior?

This translation of the Ethiopic Book of Enoch varies significantly from the scrolls only in organizational structure, with an attempt at making it into a “pentateuch” ... tetrateuch, honestly. There is some evidence in certain fragments of translation from Greek rather than the original Aramaic, or Hebrew in the instance of the Noah traditions. I've seen no indications that the translation itself is in any way faulty.

The Slavonic is far more sketchy. There is even a purported 3 Enoch. There are those who claim that the entire New Testament has its ultimate foundation in Enochian themes and thought.

Outside of the commentary, dating analysis and the actual, physical authentication provided by the Dead Sea Scroll fragments that are themselves analyzed, I just don't see any outstanding difference, myself.

Here is a link with several knowledgeable individuals, including Charlesworth, discussing 1 Enoch and other writings, that may be of interest:

Thank you for the link and for sharing your views!

As you have explained, Enoch I, II and III are completely different types of manuscripts - Ethiopic, Slavic and Hebrew. The content is very much different.

The E.Isaac translation of I Enoch in Charlesworth's "Pseudepigrapha" uses as a primary text "the fifteenth-century Ethiopic manuscript found in a monastery in Kebran, in Lake Tana." He continually compared that manuscript with a late eighteenth century one found in the Garrett collection at Princeton University and with the text of R.H. Charles. He followed the latter two when the primary text was obviously wrong or unintelligible. He also compared the primary text with existing Greek fragments (Akhmim, Syncellus, Greek papyrus as edited by Bonner.) The Qumran fragments were also consulted.

The commentary and footnotes explain the differences between the manuscripts, context, relationship to Scripture, etc.

Previously on this forum I have bothered to type in large segments of the Isaac translation to compare to the Laurence translation which is readily available on the web so that posters can see the difference. It takes a lot of time and I'd rather not have to do it again to make my point.

As I recall, one occasion was a crevo debate when the correspondent demanded modern day evidence supporting fulfilled prophecy.

To make a long story short, scholars proceed under the presumption that prophecy is impossible. Thus the older web translation (I believe it was Laurence's) included a footnote remarking a certain passage was clearly referring to Herod and that therefore I Enoch had to have been written after he lived.

Of course that translation was before fragments of a copy of Enoch were discovered in the Dead Sea Scrolls. Some of the astronomy related fragments were carbon dated (as I recall) to around 200 BC.

How do you perceive 1 Enoch, in relation to God? I view it as a very useful means of gaining added understanding, regarding Biblical passages that have been rendered somewhat cryptic due to its exclusion, and find this approach valid due to the clear esteem in which this writing was held by numerous Biblical figures, including Apostles and Jesus Christ himself.

The exclusion of the book from canon makes sense, though, due to authorship that is apparently varied (even though there are canonical books with this quality as well), and, pertaining to the Antediluvian era, before the Mosaic Law as it was, its inclusion would not necessarily lend to the theological consistency and clarity that early Christians, and eventually the Catholic church, sought in assembling their Biblios, our Bible, that I accept as divinely guided and inspired. The New Testament actually is foreshadowed and essentially foretold by this book, 1 Enoch, imho.

What are your thoughts?

And, if you have any notion of when that crevo thread that you mention occurred, it's title, subject, etc. so I can do a search and read it myself, that would be much appreciated. It must be pre-2005, because I've read nearly all of them, and participated in many, since then.

Thank you so much for your reply and your question!

I pulled the following excerpt from this link a few years back. You can still see the article here.:

The Book of Enoch (also known as 1 Enoch) was once cherished by Jews and Christians alike, this book later fell into disfavor with powerful theologians-precisely because of its controversial statements on the nature and deeds of the fallen angels...

The theme of the Book of Enoch dealing with the nature and deeds of the fallen angels so infuriated the later Church fathers that one, Filastrius, actually condemned it openly as heresy (Filastrius, Liber de Haeresibus, no. 108). Nor did the rabbis deign to give credence to the book's teaching about angels. Rabbi Simeon ben Jochai in the second century A.D. pronounced a curse upon those who believed it (Delitzsch, p. 223).

So the book was denounced, banned, cursed, no doubt burned and shredded-and last but not least, lost (and conveniently forgotten) for a thousand years. But with an uncanny persistence, the Book of Enoch found its way back into circulation two centuries ago.

In 1773, rumors of a surviving copy of the book drew Scottish explorer James Bruce to distant Ethiopia. True to hearsay, the Book of Enoch had been preserved by the Ethiopic church, which put it right alongside the other books of the Bible...

Though it was once believed to be post-Christian (the similarities to Christian terminology and teaching are striking), recent discoveries of copies of the book among the Dead Sea Scrolls found at Qumran prove that the book was in existence before the time of Jesus Christ. But the date of the original writing upon which the second century B.C. Qumran copies were based is shrouded in obscurity. It is, in a word, old...

There is abundant proof that Christ approved of the Book of Enoch. Over a hundred phrases in the New Testament find precedents in the Book of Enoch.

Another remarkable bit of evidence for the early Christians' acceptance of the Book of Enoch was for many years buried under the King James Bible's mistranslation of Luke 9:35, describing the transfiguration of Christ: "And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, 'This is my beloved Son: hear him." Apparently the translator here wished to make this verse agree with a similar verse in Matthew and Mark. But Luke's verse in the original Greek reads: "This is my Son, the Elect One (from the Greek ho eklelegmenos, lit., "the elect one"): hear him."

The "Elect One" is a most significant term (found fourteen times) in the Book of Enoch. If the book was indeed known to the apostles of Christ, with its abundant descriptions of the Elect One who should "sit upon the throne of glory" and the Elect One who should "dwell in the midst of them," then the great scriptural authenticity is accorded to the Book of Enoch when the "voice out of the cloud" tells the apostles, "This is my Son, the Elect One"-the one promised in the Book of Enoch.

The Book of Jude tells us in vs. 14 that "Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied..." Jude also, in vs. 15, makes a direct reference to the Book of Enoch (2:1), where he writes, "to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly..." ...

Many of the early church fathers also supported the Enochian writings. Justin Martyr ascribed all evil to demons whom he alleged to be the offspring of the angels who fell through lust for women (from the Ibid.)-directly referencing the Enochian writings.

Athenagoras, writing in his work called Legatio in about 170 A.D., regards Enoch as a true prophet. He describes the angels which "violated both their own nature and their office." In his writings, he goes into detail about the nature of fallen angels and the cause of their fall, which comes directly from the Enochian writings.

Many other church fathers: Tatian (110-172); Irenaeus, Bishop of Lyons (115-185); Clement of Alexandria (150-220); Tertullian (160-230); Origen (186-255); Lactantius (260-330); in addition to: Methodius of Philippi, Minucius Felix, Commodianus, and Ambrose of Milanalso-also approved of and supported the Enochian writings...

One by one the arguments against the Book of Enoch fade away. The day may soon arrive when the final complaints about the Book of Enoch's lack of historicity and "late date" are also silenced by new evidence of the book's real antiquity.

When I read Scripture, God brings the words alive within me. His words are spirit and life. The words of men are neither spirit nor life.

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life. – John 6:63

This does not happen (yet) when I read I Enoch and therefore I do not consider it Scripture even though I am drawn in the Spirit to read it.

In a nutshell, I know it is important if only for background on Genesis 6 and prophecy.

Oh, and I do not recall the crevo thread. I've been around since '98 and have been on many of them. But if I run into it again, I'll let you know.

You view it much the same as I do, then. It’s come to the fore, returning from obscurity, at just the right time, imho. There’s a warning there, as Quix alluded. Not quite the same, as we’re not so innocent this time. More subtle. But, as in the days of Noah, so shall it be.

WELL PUT.

THX.

HERE'S A VERY INTERESTING DOC for math folks . . . and folks interested in crop formations etc. . . . relative to the fallen angels and/or blokes sitting in front of screens of advanced . . . systems as some FREEPERS assert . . . Not sure if the graphics will be hot linkable or not. They are virtually a must to view at the link, if they don't. This is just an excerpt. The much longer article is at the link.

http://www.dprins.demon.nl/convergence/octacrop.html

Incredible New Crop Circle

Shows 3-D Hyperdimensional Geometry

as Described in Convergence

What we see in the above diagram is completely incredible. For what appears to be the first time, we have an image depicting an "unwrapped" octahedron in a "Crop circle" of truly epic size, now more appropriately called a "crop formation." If any of us decide to trace out this pattern on paper, cut it out and fold the edges as shown, we will indeed have a scale model of an octahedron. The numbered triangles in the crop circle diagram all fit together as shown on the three-dimensional model to the right.

(David recognized this right away from having built these models himself out of two-dimensional thin cardboard cutouts. The very first "main" fold is between triangles 2 and 6, and then the other sides will wrap around this and assemble into the octahedron as shown.)

This exciting new formation, quite gigantic at over 250 feet in width, lends dramatic support to the idea that the Circlemakers are attempting to show us these "hyperdimensional geometries" at work. This is indeed the next step in an ongoing demonstration of the geometry of "hyperdimensional physics" as described in Convergence and other sources including Richard Hoagland's Enterprise Mission website and Monuments of Mars text.

FOUNDATIONS

We have all watched the crop circle phenomenon develop over time, and seen how the formations have continued to become more and more incredible each year. The first major "breakthrough" formation that departed from the original patterns was Barbury Castle 1991, which looked as follows:

If we look at the bottom right of this figure, we can see that it illustrates the top half of an octahedron or pyramid shape, defined with a circular spiral. It is believed by this author and others that the Barbury formation was a key "Rosetta Stone" to the understanding of the geometric nature of the dimensions in the universe. The bottom left circle would be the first dimension, symbolizing a point in the middle of a void. The top circle would represent this point going into motion, spreading out in a spiraling, geometric fashion from its center. This is the second dimension, the first time that motion happens in an otherwise static medium, forming a flat surface.

Lastly, the bottom right, or the third shape, represents the first time that this spiraling energy takes on its shape as a three-dimensional entity. If we look at the picture below, we can indeed see how this spiral completely describes the shape of a pyramid, or the top half of an octahedron.

This diagram is very important for another reason, in that it attempts to show us how the shapes themselves are formulated from spiraling energetic sources. By showing the interplay of the curved and straight line, we see how the "underlying" structure of the formation emerges from an originating energy line that travels in a spiraling motion - the true "superstrings" of Light that form all things in the universe.

THE FOURTH DIMENSION

AND BEYOND

Then, of course, the fourth geometric shape in the center of the Barbury Castle pictogram is that of the tetrahedron or fourth-dimensional energy. This shows how the next level of geometry in the "octave" is satisfied. Richard Hoagland and the Enterprise Mission team have gone to great lengths to show how this main central object is meant to indicate a circumscribed tetrahedron, or a tetrahedron within a sphere. The three large circles in the pictogram actually map out the necessary angles to prove that a tetrahedron in a sphere is precisely what "they" are trying to show us.

(This material is covered in much greater detail in Chapter 14 of Convergence as well as on the Enterprise Mission website, www.enterprisemission.com.)

More recently, we also have seen the "triple Julia set," an amazing crop circle that attempts to show a similar geometric / spiraling expansion occurring for the fourth-dimensional shape of the tetrahedron. The next picture illustrates exactly how this appears. Remember that all the straight lines were added later: what was originally present in the crops was simply the spiral-shaped circular formations as given. Just as we did with the bottom right of the Barbury Castle formation, this crop circle required us to add the straight lines in ourselves later on.

As described in Convergence, we can visualize the central circle in the above diagram as representing the spherical, energetic center of the tetrahedron, and each of the spiral arms radiating outwards from this central sphere shape. (You need to imagine a fourth spiral for the back corner of the tetrahedron, not printed in the crop diagram in order to keep it simpler and more aesthetically pleasing.)

We are also reminded of the work of Stan Tenen, who has shown the world that a fundamental connection can be made between the letters of the Hebrew alphabet and a tetrahedron. Specifically, if you put a spiral inside of the tetrahedron, the Hebrew alphabet comes from the varieties of reflections that can be cast from this arrangement onto a flat surface. This is yet another layer of validation to show us that "someone" already knew all about this system of physics long ago.

And so, although we have seen this geometry expressed for the tetrahedron and possibly other higher-level shapes before, we have not yet seen it three-dimensionally described for the octahedron - until now!

A GEOMETRIC OCTAVE OF DIMENSIONS

Wilcock's main contribution to the understanding of this particular area of "hyperdimensional physics" is his correlation of the musical / color octave with the geometric octave outlined in the ancient Hindu Vedic scriptures, tying this into a cosmology of the higher dimensions. The reason why this is so important to us is that this octave represents the fundamental structure and organizing principle of the higher dimensions. Wilcock and others have learned that when working in advanced-level psychic trance states, one can visually "see" one of these shapes and know instantly what dimensional frequency they are working within at any time. For a practicing intuitive counselor / deep trance psychic who knows the pros and cons of each dimensional level, knowing the meaning of the geometry that you are seeing can be very helpful.

Again, we remind the reader that the pulsating, spherical "consciousness unit" unifies together all of the dimensional frequencies in the Creation. We do indeed catch a glimpse of the hidden, pulsating geometric organization to our octave system by studying these units, and the crop circles lead the way. And so, in order to show the full, interrelated progression of the "consciousness unit," we will reprint the "shape table" of dimensions from Convergence, with their colors, sound frequencies and geometric counterparts.

(Remember that the numbers in the second column represent the vibrations in cycles per second for each note in the octave.)
