When ask what Americans would have to give up, Obama stated, "They will have to give up treatments that will not make them well." That statement should scare Americans to death, because many of us with medical problems will become a bit of data in a computer in Washington, and when Dr's want to give us treatment, they will have to state if it will get us "well." Anyone else see a problem with this?

Wait until this criteria is applied to Obama’s “end of life care” decision-making. Sure sounds like sinister doublespeak ...
That means that if you are elderly, and i need of medical procedures, you will not get it....That’s what it means.

It has to make you “healthier”,,most treatments just hold back the dike. They maintain present state of health or slow down the inexorable downturn associated with a disease.
Much cancer treatment just holds back death,,it doesn’t make you better or well.
This gives a whole lotta room to deny care.

Think how many times you and your doctor try a medicine for a specific problem, knowing that if it DOES NOT WORK for ya, the DOC will prescibe something else and on and on until something that DOES work is found.
His news conference was a case in how to win friends and influence people (not).
In these days with breaktrough treatments happening on a regular basis, giving that extra time might be the difference maker (or at the very least giving comfort and palative care).
I know what it mean, hun. ;-) I’m being sarcastic about his complete LACK of knowledge when it comes to health care. Tonight’s ‘brain fart’ of his was shockingly horrible.
So how soon can he and the democrats leave office?
It sounds like we will all need to send acrimonious letters to the White Crib about each and every one of our ailments and he will “help us” get better. (Going to go toss my dinner now...)

I pray that if we have MSM reporters that visit here, they ask Obama exactly what he means, and get straight answers.
Unfortunately he believes that cr*p about everybody being equal ~ identical ~ the same under the skin ~ totally without difference when it comes to chemistry, etc.
His belief is so wrong it is murderous. Every population in the world who have gone through a genetic bottleneck or have become genetic isolates for a long period of time has normal operating parameters that deviate substantially from those of the broad masses whose ancestors hung around the Equator during the Ice Age.
Since Obama isn't a doctor I'm not going to believe him on this matter. Being a member of several "genetically isolated groups" I think I'll go buy more guns because it looks like I'm going to be facing a whole string of "end of life counselors" double shifting me.
Does that include the treatment I have had at tax time the last few years, where I had to cut a check to the FedGov for more than enough to pay off my mortgage?

Obama can’t go into the specifics of this monstrosity because 1.) He doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about
2.) If he goes into the specifics of this monster he loses.
I wonder what the Alinsky rulebook will say when the percentage of Americans against this nightmare goes to 60% tomorrow?
