Here is video from a "Coffee" hosted by Missouri Democrat Congressman Emanuel Cleaver where he repeatedly told those in attendance "There is no health care bill," and refused to discuss the issue.

Cleaver is using the technicality that there is no one final bill ready to be voted on as an excuse to dodge the huge issues connected to the Health Care debate. Cleaver knows there is a Democrat Bill that is on the table that is the centerpiece of this debate. You can read it for yourself, all 1,018 pages of it! There is no health care bill is the truth...This is just another government money grabbing scheme. No one is turned down in the system we have and the preventive health care crap is out of hand....Everyone needs a pill bcause their "numbers" are not perfect?? And they have to go back every 3 months to recheck the numbers???

Basically, they’re trying to make everyone think they haven’t settled on anything and that what people are so riled up about are just a bunch of unconnected ‘ideas’. Thus, there isn’t any ‘bill’....what they won’t tell you is that they WILL enact all of these silly ass ideas when they think they have everyone sufficiently bamboozled. They are a bunch of goddam liars - don’t trust a damn thing ANY one of them says, EVER.

Right you are. Unfortunately, I developed a very hyper-thyroid condition, called Graves Disease, a few years ago. Now I have to go back every 3 months to recheck the numbers. If I don't take the pills, my heart rate goes thru the roof.

Shortly after I was first diagnosed, I had to go in for another procedure. I was sedated for said procedure, but my heart rate was still 120 bpm.

Dr. visits and medication for this condition are not expensive. Lab visits, though, to draw blood to check the numbers, would cost me around $400 each without insurance.
