The polling is so confusing that only 96% of respondents agree that school officials went too far.
62% Yes. A 'zero tolerance' policy leaves school officials no room to make decisions on a case-by-case basis.

34% Yes. Zachary is a young boy who did nothing wrong.

2% No. It seems harmless but what if the knife in the utensil had hurt another student?

2% No. This sends a message to every student in the district including those in high school.

<1% I'm not sure.

They left out the correct answer: Yes: This is one of the stupidest, most mind numbingly assine decision of the Third Millenium.

Yeah, a coupla months in state custody'll straighten that little snot-nosed punk out. Looks dangerous to me. We'll wipe that smirk off his face.

Agreed, but yes and no are so final, just more than our delicate society can stand these days. And what kind of ditz votes I’m Not Sure? Why do they even waste their time, or is it a joke? Weird!
