Just wondering if any Freepers have tried this jacket for concealed carry. Any feed back would be helpful. Thanks.

I could probably sew a holster into my ScotteVest SyV and accomplish the same.
I carry about 20 pounds of stuff when I travel in 26 zippered pockets. It is like having an extra bag.

Haven't tried it ... and that is the only way you can know for sure if this will do the trick for you. But it looks like it would give good concealment and provide quick access. So many vests and jackets these days look too "tactical" and scream "I'm packin'!"
I have just added this to my Christmas wish list. Thanks or the tip.

(Just my opinion ....)

I've always thought this was a good idea.
Thunderwear
Especially when wearing a jacket would seem out of place.

I went with a denim concealed carry. Fabric is stiff enough for concealment, year round comfort, plus a casual, wear anywhere look.
It has several inside pockets for wallet and extra’s. But, I’m a woman and had a hard time finding something I could adjust easily for height and frame, and I didn’t want to look like a commando with all those outside pockets.

I’m also a gal. Do you have a favorite online store for concealed carry purses, jackets, etc. Denim would be great, since that is what I wear a lot anyway. I guess I could convert jackets I have, that’s an option. We know how to sew! Girl Power!

http://www.holstervest.com/ This is where I purchased mine, but I just did a search on denim concealed carry vests, and there are now several sites.
I’m short and a little round, so I went with a man’s, took up the shoulders, and adusted the neck. That brought the holster pocket up to waist level and improved the concealment. It is very comfortable!

Not very appealing, rather drab looking. Need some thing more for the better dressing professional. I’ll keep looking.

Really it isn’t hard. You can post a link and images aren’t much different. The image has to be store/reside at some website on the web and then that url is used to post the image to FR.
