Or at least hold off until November 6, 2012 or so when we will all know for sure.

He wasn't telling only his nephew to NOT reenlist....

I have thought the same thing if I had a kid or nephew who was thinking of joining the Obama military.

A lot of folks fought in the 1940s under left wing FDR.
So they should have not served and let Japan and Germany
take over. Sure, that would work....Not

There won’t be a 2012 election if we pack it in which
means more 9/11s and worse.

I’m waiting for this to hit the liberal blogs, because there’s been a bit of outrage on twitter over this

Total dumbass. I enlisted during the worthless Carter administration and completely enjoyed serving under Ronaldus Magnus. I'll never forget.

I like Beck, but I think he is wrong here.

Obama and his peeps (think Ayers, Dohrn, etc.) would love nothing more than if the members of our fantastic military got out

(so they could replace them w folks more to their liking.)

My hope is that those fine folks in uniform who are careerists, or who are considering staying in, do so.

We need them, and the political climate will change before their next hitch is up (one would hope.)

This from a Navy and Marine Dad.

Our troops serve America;
WE are America...not just that current partying WH occupier.
But I understand. I have an enthusiastic grandson in JROTC.

Beck is wrong to be contributing to the already low military enthusiasm among our young men, already we are forced to take their girlfriends and 42 year old grandmothers to replace the males that refuse to serve their nation.

I was lucky to serve under Nixon and Reagan and while I admit that Reagan may have been the reason I signed up for the second time (after being out for ten years), Nixon had nothing to do with me enlisting the first time.

I don’t really put much stock into who the commander in chief is when you serve, to me that is too trivial for the average soldier to care about when compared to the real reasons one enlists or wants to continue or discontinue his service.

There is a school of thought that you SHOULD join the military if you think we are headed down the bad road. Get some important training for later use,, ya know?!

I have one slated to go again next year with his re-enlistment about mid deployment. I have the same advice to him, this man is no leader, has no empathy for the troops and would just as soon turn them loose on us than his Islamic terrorist friends. And then to hear about the Seals getting court-martialed for punching that puke, well that is the last straw.

If the conservative abandon the military, we will be left with a bunch of Eurowennies who are just paper soldiers.
Bad advise. Hang in there and trust that the American people are behind you and we will need you to lead the way out of this mess.

If you talk a young man into skipping his enlistment when the time is right for him, then he is almost always lost forever to military service, and that is his loss.
