This is happening to me and awhile back I said so on FR but got no responses from others. It doesn’t do it every time but about 75% of the time. When that happens I hit spell check again and most of the time it goes through properly but at times I’ve had to hit it three times. Have no idea why this is happening and or what one can do about it. (as I spell checked this post it did not happen)

I have been having a problem with spell check for quite a while, all the words are boxed. I hit the back button and then hit spell chech again that usually brings up spell check properly...Just flagged moderator as today I cannot reply to anything, reply button is not working and all I get is the article coming up again...hope to hear from moderator any time now, as that button worked fine......

If you are using Firefox as a browser it has a built in spell check that never fails.

Yep I have the problem also. I have had it for months. I usually accept what is written in then run spell check again. It usually works OK for a while after that. You are not alone. FWIW :D) It just did it again when I checked this. Vista System here.

Yeah, the java program for spell check has a habit of reurning all spelling to its before correction state as you post.
I get hit several times a day if I am speeding through.( Sorry FRiends)
