I don’t buy anything that is “eco-friendly” or marketed as “green”. I will go out of my way and even pay more not to buy green crap.

Since most of these types of items currently cost more in terms of overall energy to produce, typically including lots of petroleum products, you're actually being "greener" if you don't support them - at least in terms of energy usage. Plus, I suppose you're in effect indirectly putting your stamp of approval on the AGW CO2 hoax. If you look at the Frito Lay press releases, it's all about carbon this and carbon that, as if that matters at all.
