It sounds like something fishy is going on. But unlike Obama, I don’t like jumping to conclusions until I see all of the evidence and hear both sides of the story.

And here we have the true fruit of multi-culturlisim and the Gov’t refusal to enforce the law of the land, specifically, secure the boarder and deport illegals. The result is an unorganized type of vigilante activity. Small incidents that incense most of us but becoming more frequent. The result, in the MSM, is angst over the meanness of the Americans and how racist they are. The truth is that all this crap we foist upon our citizens about diversity and everything is equal and no one deserves more of what is ours then the noble illegal leaves most people angry and feeling powerless, so people, in this case kids, lose control of the anger and “do something” whether they can see why or not, and mostly not. Soon, if we do not change DC, state and local gov’t things will start to get a little bit organized and more acts of violence will occur, then small enclaves will start to form and anyone who looks or acts or just is not part of “my” group will be run out, harassed, abused and killed just to protect “my” group. Since there are so many recognized groups the whole deteriorates into a third world, tribal type society. Hold on tight, ‘cause we are in for a really rough ride in this country!

These men do not represent the coal-crackers that I know. There are no better people anywhere, IMHO. They are country folk, hard-working and decent. Many of them, just like anywhere in this country, are troubled by the influx of illegals, who strain public resources, choose not to learn our language or assimilate in any meaningful way.

Our birthright as Americans is our liberty. My father fought and shed blood on the fields of WWII.

Most Americans value and honor our amazing fortune in being born in this great country, and we are made fools by the people who never earned the right to live here, yet they come, they stay, they benefit from our generosity.

Having said that, the young men who murdered the immigrant and the law enforcement officers who protected them, should be punished with the full weight of the law. Our American ideals for which men and women have fought and died deserve no less. There is no argument one could make to excuse or pardon the behavior of these criminals.

But there is still a much larger issue. Illegal immigration runs rampant in this country, and its acceptance empowers those who are inclined already to behave criminally, as these men did. That issue is not resolved, even though a decisive majority of Americans are profoundly troubled by the lack of enforcement of immigration laws.

The people who support, enable or condone illegal immigration, and the politicians who have looked the other way for decades, have undermined the rule of law – which, most fundamentally, is the glue that binds the citizens of our nation together. Without that glue, in time the nation we know and the ideals of liberty and self-government, will perish.
