My suggestion to you: If you don't want to be known as a blogpimp, then read what some other folks have written and respond to other folks' threads. You could also post and comment on content written by other folks other than yourself. This is a community / discussion site, after all, not a clearing house for individuals' personal blogs.

You might even enjoy yourself doing so and find some interesting discussions with some of the foremost conservatives on the web.

BTW, Blogpimps are those folks who only come on here to post their material. Usually it involves trying to drive traffic to their blog.

You're probably right about the thin skin. I guess I just do unto others as I would have them do to me and expect the same. I don't slam benign posters as whores of any sort.
