Does anyone know anything about this group? It is a 503c that was started by Norman Lear. According to the website it "is committed to the rebirth and re-expression of citizenship through informed and thoughtful activism."

Forgive me if I screw up this post, I've never doe it before....

If it’s Lear, it’s a bunch of liberal gasbags.

Norman Lear is a pretty staunch leftist. As the creator of “All in the Family,” he sought to create and enduring stereotype of conservatives that would effectively marginalize them in public. His project failed rather miserably but he remains iconicly leftist.

He really enjoys bashing Christian America so I suspect this is a group designed to re-define Christianity as being pro-anti American. He likely hopes to dupe Christians into following his ‘pro America’ group that adores socialism, separation of church and state, and other anti american values.

It amazes me how these folks never tire of these antics.

If Norman Lear is associated with it, you can bet it's a lib group.

Besides, I was born Right the first time.

Thanks. That was my first thought too. I keep getting emails from some of my conservative friends about this group. I keep telling them this has got to be a liberal site.

If Norman Lear is involved it’s sure to be a Maoist/Obamaist organization.

Wasn’t he one of the founders of “People for the American Way”?
At first, they sounded reasonable, but the more you heard, it was obvious that they were way-left.

Liberal; and sounds blashemous as well (doesn’t it just make sense that liberals would put together an org that indirectly talkes about being “Born Again” in whom our salvation comes from God), and trasmute that to (Goverment: and citizenship in America)? and then (you can bet) they would think this would trick and sit well with “red state” Americans??..

I think it is tricking a lot of “red state” people. I hate to tell you how many times I’ve received emails about this “great” group.
