The 50 Sexiest Songs of All Time
Billboard ^ | February 11, 2010

Posted on 02/12/2010 10:16:47 AM PST by ConservativeStatement

"Sexy" is a relative term -- one man's baby-makin' music might be his woman's soundtrack for a snoozefest. But there's nothing subjective about this list. These are, literally, the 50 most popular songs about sex ever, as based on each song's performance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (from August 4, 1958 -- the inception of the Hot 100 chart -- through the Jan. 16, 2010 issue). Some songs are steamy slow-jams, some are hi-octane arena-rockers, but what they all have in common (and what got them on this list) is that the subject matter of each song is directly related to sex, in some way. No more, no less. Got it? Now let's knock some boots.

Ewwwww, he looks like a MONSTER in person. He was on my flight to Vegas a couple years ago. I was looking at him, wondering if he were not the ugliest example of a human I’d ever seen in my life, when the man next to me started praising him and asked him for his autograph! I had no clue who it was and still don’t know their music at all. But it was that Motorhead guy.

"“Kashmir” is actually better background music, if that’s what’s on one’s mind..."

I was thinking more like "When the Levee Breaks".

I've ruled out "Achilles Last Stand". Its over ten minutes long, for God's sake.

Yeah that what I said. Plus where is Cat Scratch Fever, My Baby Likes My Butter on Her Grits, and Wango Tango. Or AC/DC Girls Got Rhythm, Walk All Over You, Big Balls, Or You Shook Me All Night Long

I also didn't see the The Cars-Let’s Go from the CANDY-O album
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExYsh1W22Wo&feature=PlayList&p=D597C8AC333BB9BB&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=17

Or Judas Priest's - Evil Fanttasies
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVbSXugfKmE

Or Van Halen’s - Everybody Wants Some
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAktV72_nnE

Or Whitesnake’s - Slide It In
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaE7uiO1qRw

Then there is Led Zeppelin's - The Hunter
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytnXQIwD9c0

and The Lemon Song - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39P9vpH5aCw

Squeeze me, babe, ‘till the juice runs down my leg
Do, squeeze, squeeze me, baby, until the juice runs down my leg
The wayyou squeeze my lemon-a
I'm gonna fall right outta bed, ‘ed, ‘ed, bed, yeah

I could go on but the point is that alot of hard rock 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, etc is very sexaul. But I would have to say that 80’s Heavy Metal-Hard Rock- or how ever you like to categorize it was some of the most sexual music ever written.

I love this thread!

TXBlair’s 21 Sexiest Songs of All Time (in no particular order):

**Poundcake—Van Halen
**The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get—Morrissey
**Boom Boom (Let’s Go Back to my Room)—Paul Lekakis
**Rough Boy—ZZ Top
**Two Occasions—The Deele
**Shake You Down—Gregory Abbott
**Stand Up (Kick Love into Motion)—Def Leppard
**Women—Def Leppard
**Animal—Def Leppard (so nice I named them thrice!)
**Gotta Stay High—New Radicals
**In Need of a Miracle—New Radicals
**Love You Down—Ready for the World
**Chances Are—Bob Seger and Martina McBride (admittedly more sweet than sexy, but whatever)
**Beautiful—Snoop Dogg and Pharrell (that’s right...the D-O-Double G)
**Kiss You All Over—Exile
**Rock Your Body—Justin Timberlake
**I Can’t Hold Back—Survivor
**Closer—Nine Inch Nails (disturbingly sexy)
**Ignition (the remix!)—R. Kelly
**The Cowboy Rides Away—George Strait

These songs are all great (I had fun coming up with my list!), but my pick for the absolute sexiest song of all time is:

**One Night Love Affair—Bryan Adams (have mercy!)

Oh boy, did you just give me some more ways to leave you speechless and for you to roll your eyes at me. And how come you didn’t include a George Strait and maybe a Garth Brooks song?

More fuel for your fire, eh?? ;)

I did put a George song on my list, by the way...The Cowboy Rides Away. It was listed near the very end. You were probably just too giddy by that point to notice it. ;)

Yes, it was the whole “hey, I can make her blush every day for 15 years or so!” thought that kind of got the best of me there.

What about “Shameless” by Garth Brooks, though? ;)

Not sexually explicit, but I always thought Driver's Seat by Sniff 'n the Tears was a sexy song.
