WASHINGTON President Barack Obama hailed Wednesday's one-year-old economic stimulus law as an accomplishment that staved off another Great Depression and kept up to 2 million people on the job.
Still, with millions still out of work and losing patience, Obama acknowledged that to them, "It doesn't yet feel like much of a recovery."
Marking the anniversary of the $787 billion American Economic Recovery and Investment Act, Obama aimed his message at people skeptical about the expensive relief measure and Republican lawmakers who voted against it and continue to hammer him about it.

0bama said...as long as his lips are flapping lies I'll believe it. NOT!
I watched his entire fabrication. What a complete a$$hole he is. He was smirking, condescending, slammed republicans, and lied constantly. I despise the cockroach.
This isn't really happening. This delusional goofbag is not the President of the United States. This isn't happening.
...it’s funny, everyone else with a modicum of economic/fiscal comprehension feels that he’s made our financial/economic collapse far more likely, perhaps even inevitable.
Over 50% of the Stimulus still unspent....yes, of course the Stimulus saved us from uncertain world economy ending doom.....Jack Squat.....
Save that somewhere.
Besides, if less than 50% of the Stimuls saved, created, or funded, million jobs.....then why the need for a JOBS BILL when all you have to do is spend the remaining Stimulus money and generate another 2+ million created, saved or funded jobs...without a JOBS BILL....Jack Squat.....idiot maximus.
