Hollywood stars and celebrities are generally considered to be a liberal and Democratic-leaning community, but these celebrities are all declared Republicans according to the FEC, or known conservatives.

Ruh-oh. I’m not sure about that. I’m viewing an interview he did with Neil Cavuto and it seems Neil was more interested in nailing Clint as a RonPaul libertarian than Eastwood cared to commit to. He does make an observation about conservatives being “masochistic”— haha.

Apropos James Earl Jones (on the list): Remember when he was Rush's original bumper voice during the early days of syndication?

"This is EIB."

I think that was before JEJ became the voice of CNN.

I like that she named her daughter something normal, I think the name is “Grace” or “Emily” something sweet and pretty, not something weird like “Pilot Inspektor” or “Moxie Crimefighter”.

I don’t remember that, so he was another surprise to me.

Do they show the names somewhere? I can’t recognize some of these people. Some are dead anyway. The Demonrats vote dead people all the time, but not our side.

I checked out Tim Robbins on newsmeat.com after the above post and sure enough, he donated to a few Republicans....wonder what the reason was?

you just made my point..Clint doesn’t really commit to anything hence wishy washy about what he really believes. And i don’t blame him as Hollywood is intolerant of anything that’s not left of center.

**You jest!**

Michele Bachmann made that announcement.. and a little investicating (I believe bighollywood.com) shown quite a list of Republican Candidates.

And it WOULD explain the Robbins/Sarandon SPLIT..

Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy... he’s the one that outed ME (as a “rightwinger”).

JEJ did the EIB spot to get BACK at CNN. CNN did not Pay the residuals for Using his Voice.

You can take 1/3 of that list away, because they have said/done things the opposite of what would make someone a ‘Republican’. And if the rubber ever had to meet the road, you can remove another 1/3 from that list, too.

LL Cool J was the biggest surprise for me.

The numbers of African-American and Latin entertainers in that list should tell us that we don't have to write them off to the Dems. All we need is an effective message.

I know, I know, "What would that message be, TwelveOfTwenty?" How about, when the GOP succeeds, everybody wins. When the economy turned around after the Carter years, it turned around for everybody. When the Cold War ended, it ended for everybody. When Welfare Reform finally passed, everybody benefited from it.

James Woods has been very conservative and has some great quotes.

“Scratch a liberal and you’ll find a fascist ... I’m not joking. You look at what’s happening in this country now. Catharine MacKinnon thinks that we should now limit free speech, anything that offends a woman should now no longer be allowed - no reasonable man or woman in this country would subscribe to that, it’s just insanity.” (1994)

“But, you know, feminists have just destroyed the world as we, know it. I haven’t met a woman lately, and I’m talking about women who work and have a high position, who doesn’t agree with that. It has just destroyed relationships between men and women. Men and women are very wary of each other now. I listen to these feminists rave about, ‘How dare they attack ‘Bill Clinton’ for having a little consensual sex act’, but went nuts because Clarence Thomas allegedly made a joke about a Coke can. And the other guy is humiliating his wife and getting oral sex while he’s talking about Bosnia to a congressman. Hello? Barbara Boxer is, you know, the most worthless, hypocritical ‘feminist’ loser on the face of the earth .... I just loathe with every fiber of my being, liars. My second ex-wife was a liar. And Nixon was a liar. And this Clinton is a liar. I have no respect for him no matter what in the world he ever does.”

“”My nightmare in life, my absolute fundamental, overwhelming, egregious nightmare, is Bill Gates’ vision of the future, where there will be a video camera on every corner and every conversation will be recorded. Man, I’d rather put a pitchfork in my eyes than live in a world like that.”

There’s probably a lot of Republicans who are undeclared, and also because of the unofficial Republican mantra of “It’s nobody’s business how I vote”. Also they are not stupid enough to make videos like Demi Moore declaring they are a president’s servant. (And these people wonder how Hitler got started).

What I would love to know is the number of Hollywood types that are freaked out by how tyrannical this administration is becoming, and perhaps don’t want their medical info fed to the IRS. They are probably hiding in that proverbial closet.

Have the government’s pay czar control what the Hollywood industry can make and their liberal numbers will dwindle.

How long ago? Was it because he was a commie or in CYA mode, at your expense. Somebody on a set once tried cornering me re: Beelzeflubba and Monica. I simply answered that the President violated his own tobacco poicy. A lot of laughter ensued, and the leftist idiot shut up..

James Woods was also on “The Spew” and called Beelzeflubba a murderer. Baba Wawa started having a conniption and he said something like”: “OK, maybe manslaughter!”

$500 to J.D. Hayworth? Damn. Guess people just see things differently as they grow older. I know I certainly do. Don't see why Robbins should be any exception.
