I find this to be kind of a shame. I have found the actor to be as good as any and much better than most and able to play widely diverse characters.
Oh, well. Life takes all kinds, I guess.

Yeah, I always liked his performances in Ladder49 and Signs. The fake accent in Gladiator took away from his performance IMO.
Apparently, it's just a matter of time before those in Hollywood make that left turn.
