It is likely we could ‘discover’ ONE NEW THING about the Universe, every day, for as long as our civilization lasts, and still there would many, many more things we were yet to find.

A fundamental assumption of science is that the universe can be understood, and can be understood by an IQ in the human range. It remains to be seen whether the second part of that assumption is valid.
