Wow!

It looks like that meteor shower in “Enemy Mine.”

Wow. Those were killer hailstones.

{BTW, I sure wish people could learn to be still and straight while filming a video--I get seasick watching all the movement sometimes!]

That is really scary! How many people and pets, etc. could have been killed in that downpour?! Looked like something out of “2012” or “The Day After Tomorrow”!! :-O

Wish I had counted how many times the guy said “Oh My God”.

Didn’t hear anyone question whether the roof or house being damaged. Those were like cannon balls.

Mother Nature (God’s handmaiden) is awesome!!!

I’m sure insurance companies in OKC are CRYING! We had hail like this from a storm in MN when I lived there some years ago. After the storm, the car dealerships were selling their damaged inventory at pennies on the dollar.

My daughter in Seattle sent me the link this morning. Not sure how long she had it before she sent it on. But it’s always exciting to see stuff like this. One of the things about Minnesota that impressed me the most when I was there was the VIOLENCE of the weather. No, THANKS!! Fifteen years of that kind of excitement was plenty.

There was a hailstorm like that which hit Rapid City SD and Ellsworth AFB in June of 86. Hailstones the size of grapefruits driven by a 40 mph wind. The level of damage to cars at that time was unbelievable including our brand new 4 month old car. It did 10 million + in damage just to government property. My wife and now adult kids still get antsy when they know hail is in the forecast.

I am from Iowa, when I was in high school, I watched hail crack a wood picnic table in half. It was made with 2x’s. Amazing amoutn of damage. Hail would go through peoples roofs into their upstair rooms at times or into the attics. Crazy.
