I don't think so... I think they got an extremely watered down version of the events, designed to make it look more like an "accidental" killing rather than a killing done with forethought and malice.
Yes, no doubt he, after some “questioning” decided to confess but only that it was an “accident”. I think the condition of the body (broken neck, etc.) will show the level of his ongoing deceit.
I belive they got the truth out of him, probally had a 6’8. 323 pounds fella standing in front of him cracking his knuckles.
