There is where we are moving to. I just asked a resident if they get many bears, He said, “Not really. Haven’t seen one around lately.” Hmmm, me thinks he’s funnin around.
People who live in bear country seem to be very casual about bears.
We were visiting some people in Idaho and I said I thought I’d take a walk down their long long driveway. The resident said “fine go ahead”. I decided to ask about bears and he said they ‘don’t see many bears, just one every 3 weeks’. I asked how long it had been since they had seen a bear and he said “3 weeks”.
This Texas girl did not go for that walk.
