The Vietnamese were civilized by comparison. But I wouldn´t expect total war to be any less than total.

No kidding, why do you think the U.S. Government is allowing all the illegal aliens into America; for “Cinco de Mayo” or Tet del Dia/La ofensiva del Día...this is a multi-pronged offensive sponsored by the political class to then be followed by Sharia and Islam.

Of course.

I’d like to thank the media, John Kerry and the president’s best mentor/associates/friends... the WU/SDS.

It may not be a bad bet. The people who won the war for the North Vietnamese are now in power. Here.

Anyone who was around then was amazed at how deftly an unremittingly hostile press managed to shift the blame for the war from Kennedy and Johnson onto Richard Nixon. 0bama will happily withdraw from Afghanistan as soon as there is someone onto whom to shift the blame - the media who will do it have already had a full dress rehearsal in demonizing Bush. Whoever the Republican candidate turns out to be in 2012 had better not be talking about any "secret plans to end the war."

Well, they have one thing going already. The American press is emerging as their "most important jihadist."

"General Thi believes that the media played a major role in the final downfall of South Vietnam. He quotes North Vietnam General Vo Nguyen Giap as stating in a French TV broadcast that Giap’s 'most important guerrilla during the Vietnam War was the American press.'"

I don’t think the MSM will be pro troops until they start dying off and are replaced with younger and much less rabid anti-Americans. And before you tell me that the next generation is filled with hippies, well, after this economy there won’t be too many socialists left.

The American press is emerging as their “most important jihadist.”

In the tradition of the traitor Walter Krankheit.

How true, since many younger folks have pretty much now have turned against Obama, because of “buyers remorse”.

Also, the more hippies who lose their homes and see their kids upset and hungry, that’s another hippie reformed. Each time an illegal gets a job, that’s another Republican in the making.

Well thankfully lots of younger generations have a deep appreciation of our troops and I think that there will be a lot of changes.
