I thought the rule was that everything they sold had to be made in America.

That’s all? I want those human organs from political prisoners. Then I’ll know that “free trade” is really worth while.

#6 item is sausage. It is seasoned and dried like beef jerkey. Usually served by slicing the desired amounts you want to eat, and emplaced on top of nearly cooked rice to heat the meat up. Other usage is cut it up into bacon size bits and mixed with eggs (scrambled or scrambled and steamed). Not bad emergency food if meat is unavailable or limited.

It would be funny if the only products available in a Chinese Wal-Mart were all made in America.
But then it would be more like the Neiman Marcus of China.

Ugh, those bins of assorted unwrapped meats with people picking through them to inspect them don’t look very sanitary to me. It seems pretty obvious that Chinese standards of food safety are way below what we’re used to.
Remind me not to eat if I ever visit China...

Got some bad news for you. You don't have to visit China to eat their stuff. We import a surprising amount of processed foods from China: those lovely tins of Christmas cookies, rice noodles, candy, canned goods, even poultry products. I check product labels for country of origin, and if it says "Made in China", I dump it.
