Since bone, especially human bone decomposes back into powder over time, I have a hard time believing these finds are really as old they believe them to be.

That is what I have thought about a lot of archaelogy, but since I am not trained, just figurd I didn’t “get it.”. How can 3000 year old cities be buried in yards of dirt, yet hundreds of thousands of year old bones be still available near the surface and not decayed?
