Lia was glad her sister is black, filthy, and often annoying it becomes U.S. President.

It is strange that this article often calls Obama a sister. Also that he was filthy.

Apparently the Indonesian language is not as gender specific as English. The gender is derived from context. That makes it difficult for translation software to accurately determine the sex of the person being spoken about. What we need is a person who can accurately translate these stories from Indonesian to English. Anybody out there?

Maybe this has been mentioned about the gender pronouns. I have a good friend who is a Filipina and she often uses “she” for her husband or other like mistakes. They don’t have the same kind of pronouns in many languages, possibly the language in Indonesia is similar to Tagalog in that way.
