“and the state has no right to force fatherhood on a father”

I am not sure I understand. Once you impregnate a woman, you are a father, no? It is not forced upon you.

The state might only enforce that you keep up on your financial responsibilities as a father. Children need provision. If you don’t want to provide, you can forfeit custody, is that not correct?

You can’t forfeit custody unless the woman wants and agrees to sole custody and to absolve you....million of men would be delighted for the right to forfeit custody and child support over one drunken night with some female they barely know and don’t want a baby with.....again...she could give the baby up for adoption, have an abortion or raise the baby by herself or with her family.....

The State doesm’t know who the father is without illegally invading the man’s privacy.......

Even if you’re married, you don’t know if you’re the father....
