That was quite obvious and quite disturbing. And once the beating was over, he zoomed back in. I’d like to see the heroic FR cop defenders explain this whole incident.

Perea said a witness said DeHerrera pushed another officer moments earlier and that Sparks feared DeHerrera was about to strike him. Other witnesses disputed that DeHerrera had pushed anyone. Yeah, right. That's why they let him just sit there talking on his phone, completely ignoring him, until it appears that he gets a little too loud with his 1st Amendment rights. If he had really pushed a cop, we all know the retaliatory beatdown by a mob of cops would have been immediate.

At least two of those cops were huge. How does a guy get that big without steroids? Cops should be tested for steroids.

These officers were not fired despite falsifying an arrest report, lying to Internal Affairs, committing assault, battery, and disturbing the peace.
Read the investigation
report.
The young man brutally attacked while on the phone was talking with his father, a sheriffs deputy.
Anthony DeHerrera, Michaels father, said he heard his son yelling on the phone about his friend being beaten, then heard the phone fall to the ground and sounds of a struggle.
The last thing we heard was '
We've got to get rid of the phone, they're recording us, Anthony DeHerrera said during an appearance with his son on Mondays Good Morning America.
Even the Denver Mayor believes the cops are covering up to protect these criminals.
"Mayor John Hickenlooper has asked the FBI to review the case of alleged excessive force by Denver Police that was the subject of a year-and-half investigation."

You know it’s true. Badge-lappers just love the idea of a big, strong Daddy in tight blue pants showing some punk who’s the boss of the Yard. Why do you think they use the word “punk” so often?

Am I the only one in the world who believes the police force, like unions, are growing too big to be productive anymore and are becoming a threat to our way of life? Am I fully justified in any situation to defend myself regardless of badge?
My theory and I stand by it is the only reason an officer of the law has power is because I choose to accept it and the officer has a gun. What happens the day I ignore it and even the playing flied ? Would I be wrong ? Why so many trust random men and women with power like this is beyond me. You wouldn’t let just anybody in your house with a weapon on them would you ?

Too big and too militarized. That there is even a question about firing these cops is outrageous. They should be in jail let alone still carrying a badge and a gun.
“What happens the day I ignore it and even the playing flied ? Would I be wrong ?”
You’d be dead as they all came down on you, but I don’t plan to allow my children to live in a police state.

The real answer to your question about the limits of police power to physically abuse a citizen boils down to:
The UberMenschen in Blue can, for all practical purposes, beat and even kill you with relative impunity.
America has allowed euro-fascist styled statists to establish a de facto police state here in America.
The cops are armed and dangerous. Worst of all, SCOTUS has ruled they are not responsible for preventing crime. Look on them as investigators of crimes, some crimes, occasionally.

How can the cop’s fabricated excuses be considered evidence? I would call it an additional crime.
