Kevin Kline improves any movie, imho.
Is this thing on the level? Cindy “Shirley Feeney” Williams as Princess Leia?
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck in Brokeback Mountain....sounds like a documentary.
Fun!
They could could do this all the way back to the 1930’s. Studios and Producers often changed their mind on lead cast for one reason or another.
(later changed to: Casablanca - with Humphrey Bogart)
Most of those castings would not have change the movie much at all.
I am SO glad they dumped Will Smith from the Matrix, he would of completely ruined it for me. And on a similar note Clooney would have probably made Hancock a better movie. Will Smith just annoys me.
Faceoff was so freaking stupid, it wouldn't have mattered what actors read the lines.
Who cares about Princess Leia.
Is that Toshiro Mifune as Obi-Wan??? Now that would have been a killer movie.
Nathan Fillion for Green Lantern!

Clooney could have done Hancock, and Edward Norton could have done American Psycho. But OJ as the Terminator and Robert Redford in the Graduate sound ridiculous.
Terri Nunn auditioned for Leia, but thought her singing career was more important. All the better, since when I watched Star Wars as a kid I paid attention to the story. If it had been Terri Nunn all I would have been thinking about is “When do Leia’s clothes come off?”
The one person I’ve seen who missed many roles is Nick Nolte. Characters he turned down or was passed over for: Han Solo, Indiana Jones, Superman, Willard in Apocalypse Now, Deckard in Blade Runner, Rambo, and others. Notice he seems to get replaced by or lose to Harrison Ford a lot. Sad, he’s a better actor than the people who got those roles.
Constantine with any American actor would be the same stupid idea. Should have been Jason Statham, Christian Bale, Gerard Butler etc.
1. Donald Sutherland as Captain Willard in Apocalypse Now (Martin Sheen played this role)
2. Tom Hanks as Phil in Groundhog Day (Bill Murray played this role)
By the way: does anyone know when "National Treasure III" is going to come out? Is it even being made??
As silly as it sounds, I enjoy the movie. I only hope they find better "villians" than the last two.
Constantine definitely was a Nic Cage type flick.
Too bad Dick Shawn wasn’t alive, he could have reprised his role as Hitler in “Downfall.”
You think the YouTube parodies are a hoot now.
I remember reading somewhere that Anthony Quinn and Danny Thomas were both considered for the role of Don Vito Corleone in “The Godfather.” Also, the studio wanted Robert Reford for the role of Michael (James Caan also auditioned for the role.)
