My wife and I are heading to Oahu for our first trip to the islands and I am having a hard time finding a reasonable price for a half day trip, $600 seems a little steep. Any suggestions or reccomendations?

Why don’t you google fishing trips in Hawaii? There are dozens of them over there.

Everything in Hawaii is super spendy.
Wife and I spent a week there in March. We visited Pearl Harbor (the Missouri had just received a fresh coat of paint and looked very nice) and, among other things, visited the volcano on the Big Island.
Do not use VIP Tours for anything. Their ticket said round trip from the hotels to Pearl but the return never arrived. We took a $8 city bus back that took two hours...

While you are there don’t forget to go see Obama’s birthplace and his long form birth certificate, they are a real treasure over there, so valuable they are a secret...
