DODGE CITY
A visitor to Boot Hill Museum thought he'd stumbled on a photo opportunity Wednesday, but he wound up in the hospital instead. The tourist, a 69-year-old man from Parks, Ark., put his head into a noose at the museum's "Boot Hill Hanging Tree" and was having his photo taken, Dodge City Police Chief Robin James said in a news release. He apparently lost consciousness and slumped into the noose, and two women who were with him were unable to remove him. "Fortunately, they were able to summon help from people at the museum who removed the man from the noose," James said. The victim was taken to Western Plains Medical Complex, where he was in stable condition Wednesday afternoon.
I don’t understand how he got up high enough to get in the noose.
‘...Robin James said in a news release...”
should have read:
Robin James said in a “noose release”
You are never too old to do something really stupid.
Did they at least get pictures?
I’ll bet 2:1 that he voted for Obama. Any takers?
I am guessing the conversation went like this
Woman 1: OK hold that pose, it’s really convincing.(Photo click)
Woman 2: Excellent addition of the purple hue in your cheeks.(Photo Click)
Woman 1: He’s not moving.
Woman 2: Part of him selling the photo.(Photo Click)
Woman 1 grabs stick and pokes him.
Woman 1: Umm he’s not moving.(Photo Click)
Woman 2: Uhhh
Woman 1: I think he is really choking.
Woman 1 and 2 try to get him down. Can not achieve objective. Take one more photograph. They get help. Take more photographs. Head to casino after he is released from hospital.
he had a nose for noose
The noose was not loose.
no noose is good noose
I thought nooses were supposed to be racist now. Isn’t someone offended? *crickets*
