RAYMOND Police officers responding to a reported car crash early Tuesday morning heard an unlikely story from the alleged drunk driver behind the wheel.
John Fowler, 50, of Raymond, claimed a man had come to his house with information about the location of the Easter Bunny, and Fowler said he attempted to follow him.
When he lost the Easter Bunny informant, he tried to return home but crashed his car, Fowler reportedly told police.
Fowler did not sustain any injuries in the minor crash in the area of 105 Main St. around 1:30 a.m., but faces numerous charges, including driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, driving after suspension and misuse or failure to display plates. He was also arrested on two outstanding warrants from the court, police said.
Fowler was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Candia District Court on Dec. 13 for arraignment.

Interesting... So the Easter Bunny hangs out in Candia NH during his off season?

And if you go chasing rabbits
And you know you're going to fall,
Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar
Has given you the call.

I hope Raymond PD putout an all points bulletin for a large white rabbit with long ears carrying an easter basket. if not, then shame on them for not following through on their investigation. The Easter Bunny could be a potential witness and all efforts should be undertaken to find this key witness.
Another NH case from almost 3 yrs ago—a Mass. bankruptcy judge got drunk in Manchester and was caught on a DWI—

>>When authorities removed him from the vehicle, they said he wore a black women’s cocktail dress, fishnet stockings and high heels...The Manchester Union Leader reported that Somma was wearing women’s clothing and fumbled through his purse to find his license. Somma told police he had been at the Breezeway Pub, which calls itself “New Hampshire’s favorite gay and alternative bar.”

I slept in a bush in a blizzard and fell through the ice taking a short cut across a river, but would never chase an Easter bunny informant in a car... I hope...

What’s Bwaney Fwank got to do with it?
The Easter Bunny informant was passing the info in hopes of scoring a better deal with Santa Clause.

Sometimes a story is so bizarre that it just has to be true.
I am surprised it took until the third post for that to show up.
So what was the over/under on when a pic of a rabbit doing a wheelie on a motorcycle would show up?
If I had a nickel for every time I got plastered and went looking for the Easter Bunny on a suspended license, wrecked my car and then got arrested on outstanding warrants, well, I’d have 5cents.
But on a more serious note...
I humbly submit the stages of alcoholism which I personally witnessed a thousand times in the military. Everybody thinks they are different. “That won’t happen to me”, they always say. But the scenario is carved in stone. It always happen the same way, ALWAYS.
FIRST: You lose your wife and family.
SECOND: You lose your job.
THIRD: Sever emotional/financial/civil/medical problems followed by dementia and an inability to function(which is where this guy is).
Every time, it is always same pattern. Watch yourselves boys and girls, don’t get sucked into that whirlpool. It is very unlikely you will make it out. And even if you do, things will never be the same.
