About 3 weeks ago my husbands 09 Ford F150 p/u ran away with us on a busy city street. It accelerated by its self while he had the brake all the way down. Interesting, I have a 09 Ford F150 p/u 4x4. It is just over a year old now with 15K miles.
Did you return the truck to the dealer and if so did they offer any explanation?
I have had no similar problems thankfully. Although the SINC system did stop working about a week ago.

We have not heard yet what they have discovered about the truck. He dumped it for a Cheve, we may never hear. We have generally been GM people our entire lives having only bought a couple of Fords over our 50 years of buying vehicles. We have not liked the couple of Fords that we have bought, he a p/u years ago and me an Explorer.
We were turned off by the take over of GM by the gov. but have gone back there in spite of that.

I forgot to mention my husbands Ford F150 was a 4x4 as well. Watch out if your engine starts roaring when you are not accelerating.
