Okay, the wife bought me a Wii for Christmas and like she always does, unwraps it before it is supposed to be unwrapped.
Anyway, I got a Wii with the games Super Mario Bros.Wii and Wii Sports.
In your opinion, what game is the best for the system?
What game would you buy again if a monster ate the one you own?
My children like Punch Out!, the Raving Rabbids series and anything Mario.
Personally, I play Guitar Hero every now and then.

My son says Mario Cart. I got bored with the wii after about 3 months.
I don’t want to “recommend” any game. So I just want to give you information — both my family, and my sister’s family, really like the game called “Let’s Dance”. It seems silly to me.
I picked up Tournament Of Legends ( a fantasy fighting game),
and Endless Ocean, Blue World (single player- it’s slow and calm). My nine year old is enjoying them both tremendously. Right now she’s playing Star Wars Clone Wars with the neighbor boy, and enjoying that. She’s dying to get How to Train Your Dragon.
Personally, I’d like to get Batman;Brave and the Bold.
I’m sure you’ll get lots of replies on this one, anyhow :)
Thanks.
Bowling without a doubt!
I am not a WII owner, player, or critic, but I can think of a good game for the whole family:
“Let’s Preserve Our Constitution While We Still Have The Means”
Can I get it at Target? Or will I have to order it?
Just kidding.
Sometimes we all need a break.
Absolutely - Bowling! I pulled a muscle the first time I played!
New Super Mario Bros.: Is amazing if you grew up in the 90s like me, you’ll ove this platformer it brings back so many memories and it’s freaking awesome!
Knockout: Pays homage to the original and is so freaking good.
Donkey Kong Country Returns: A lot like New. Super Mario Bros. Definitely should not be missed
NBA Jam: It’s awesome, a lot like the original except with updated roster, retro players from the 90s, and you can unlock Sarah Palin, and George Bush as playable characters!
FYI: Stick with the Nintendo original titles they can very rarely do any wrong imo, and if you need to get just one of these titles I recommend Mario, it’s worth the price of the wii alome.
People are saying Epic Mickey will be the game of the Christmas/Winter season, I will likely buy this for my sister. It comes out on Weds 11/30.
Knockout=punchout
My husband and I really enjoy Tiger Wood’s golf and Wii Sports. We play theses a lot as a family. We have others that my daughter plays like Mario Cart, but I don’t know what her favorite is. I wanted to buy the dancing one, but it hasn’t been in the budget. It seemed like a fun way to get more exercise. At the moment, I’m recuperating from bowling after not playing for too long. To quote my daughter, “well if you didn’t do the splits....”

I certainly wish you could order such a needed family game anywhere.
I fear that within the next 6 years, maximum and more likely within next 2 years, that what we need is not going to be what we get!
I dropped the ball on my cat.
That sucks, it’s like when I play pin the tail on the Shih-Tzu, the dog is just not into it!
Mario Kart rocks.
Sports Resort is a great value. 100 pin bowling is a total hoot. Golf is good, too.
Beatles Rock Band is excellent. My 13 year old daughter is totally hooked on the Beatles because of it. Far, far better than the other Rock Bands.
I bought the same red system, along with the fit board, for my wife. She wanted the Wii fit and sports.
If depends on what you enjoy. The Legend of Zelda game is fun. Nintendo is releasing a limited edition disk with all the mario classics in December.
“Sports Resort” is our favorite so far!
