Just wondering if anyone else out there is spending the evening alone. Not necessarily a bad thing. I'm sipping a cappuccino and taking in "A Christmas Story" in the old man cave. I'll be with family tomorrow, but as of tonight, it's my faithful Boxer and me. And Ralphie.

We’re never alone.
Practically alone. Can’t buy me love...
I am by choice after a grueling work week including today.
Tomorrow I can stress out with all the family, tonight it’s the people I can’t be without, FR, and the a good winters’ nap.
Not alone. We just celebrated Christmes. All day tomorrow will be traveling. Christmas dinner will probably be a McDonald’s on the turnpike.

I’m home alone right now; but I’m working a 12 hour shift tomorrow, so it’s just as well.
Hubby and I alone this holiday season. Very quiet but still nice except for the new puppy who insists on chewing on my laptop. Merry Christmas to you!

Sitting here drinking Shlenkerla Rauchbier with my orange cat and watching an old British war movie (’The Cruel Sea’). Sorta lonely, but I’ll get by.

So there I am, finished with the gifts, mailings gone out, presents wrapped and delivered to Grandma's House for the morrow, headed home for a long winter's nap. In casual conversation she sez, "Oh, the birdhouse fell apart yesterday," she sez, "I hope those poor birds don't spend a hungry Christmas." Yeah, right, Mom. I wuz done, DONE, mind you! And so there I wuz, Christmas Eve praying to get outta the Wal-Mart parking lot alive...
Yeah, I got her dang birdhouse. Her cat's gonna love me.

I just got back from church, where there was free cookies.
I haven’t started my family yet, so it’s just me & the Lord this year too.
And to you, as well! Rauchbier is definitely an acquired taste, but once you get it- it’s really good.
This one has an aftertaste of...smoky ham, believe it or not.
Yep, seems like I’m working as much as possible to prep, pay bills, and take care of business. Purchased a radiation detector (CDV-715 Survey Meter) from www.ki4U.com today.
