I was alone for Thanksgiving. I’m thankful that my daughters who are both in the Navy are able to be home with me for this Christmas Eve.
You are lucky to not just have the daughters back for the holiday, but to have such wonderful daughters who serve this country.

What a wonderful gift for you! My daughter in the Coast Guard is due in at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow. We’ll run her through the shower, stuff her with coffee and food, and take her to church. Then she can go to bed for 24 hours.
Please thank your daughters for their service and let them know how proud we all are of them and of all who wear our nations uniform and who serve in and out of harms way to keep America safe and free.
