"Zorro was out of the water when he was attacked by the rhinoceros bull," said City Veterinarian Elzette Jordan.
She said Zorro became famous after he escaped from Rondevlei Nature Reserve in 2009. At that time he was attacked and forced out of the reserve by his father and went on to make his temporary home in the Strandfontein sewage works.

Zorro the hippo pokes his head out of the water at the sewerage works in Zeekoevlei Nature Reserve, where he took refuge earlier this year. The famed hippo has died after a run-in with a rhino bull.

Didnt I read some where that Hippo’s are the most dangerous creatures in the wild? OR was it Rhino’s
Some african guy was talking about how he would run if he saw one but would stay and watch if he saw a lion

Someone once told me that a tourist in Africa was eaten by a Hippo. Everyone thinks they are cute, but the dumb tourist went to stand next to it to get a picture. Don’t know if this is a true story. The eating part sounds a little far fetched.

If you get a chance, see The Gods Must Be Crazy movie. The rhino scene is hilarious.
I think it’s hippos that are so highly dangerous.
