Nikica, the hippopotamus walks partially submerged in a flooded yard at a village in Berislavci, about 15 miles south of the Montenegrin capital of Podgorica.

Hippos are Mother Nature’s most ill-temperered herbivore. That’s why I found the scene in the original Jurassic Park movie amusing where the the kids are petting a Brachiosaurus after Dr. Grant describes them as “kind of a big cow”. If a hippo has a bad attitude, imagine the temperament of an animal weighing 80 tons!
