I'm a portrait artist and was fortunate enough to've lived in the Berkshires at the right time, getting invaluable critiquing from Norman Rockwell, Robert Brackman, and lessons from great artists, including William Shultz.

Robert Bateman is an all time favorite also. I have a friend here, an International Award wining scrimner, that studied under Bateman.
Another of my favorites: Frank McCarthy.
Now I am getting itchy to get my paint pots out!
Just beautiful!
Yes, you should do a site with tips. I think I really appreciate good sketches and oils etc, because I can’t do it. I think a lot of it is a gift one is born with. Sure you can learn to improve it, but, you need something to improve upon. jmo
I think silent_jonny has a real talent, too. Do you have images somewhere to be seen?
