Responsible adults do not need laws to stop kids from bullying one another.

When some “authority” higher than the adult in the classroom makes laws it actually REMOVES responsibility, and reduces the number of responsible adults. Instead of being responsible, they go “by the book”, adopting policies like that of “zero-tolerance” which remove the ability of ADULTS to make judgment calls. And without judgment calls, how does one develop responsibility?

If you really think most teachers will do anything about school bullying, you don’t know much about today’s teachers. Their only interest is grabbing their paycheck and running out the door at 3:30. This law is a tool for parents to force teachers to do their duty.
