Every nerd in the counrty will appreciate this law.

Maybe this law did come into existance because of gay rights groups, but I have a nephew (and this is a macho kid that likes to hunt, ride 4 wheelers, etc...) that as a high school junior broke down and cried in front of his mom saying he was tired of getting beaten up at school.

His crime? He was short, 4 ft. 11 inches as an adult. He has spent his entire school life getting abused by bullies simply because he was so much smaller than his classmates.

Maybe if you knew someone who wasn’t gay that had been bullied you might feel differently about this law.

We moved around a lot when I was a kid, so I was always the new kid on the block. Yes, I was bullied. I learned to leave a mark of some sort on the bullies, and that they didn’t like to fight someone who would do anything to draw blood...

That is life. Constant protection by the nanny government isn’t real.

Don't think so. It's up to the parents to get the school to DO something. There does NOT need to be more stupid laws. There needs to be LESS liberal nonsense and MORE discipline!

In HS I had very long hair. 3 boys waited across from my locker EVERY morning. They tried cutting it. They tried burning it. They thought of new ways to humiliate me, a 5ft tall girl. I DIDN'T CRY FOR A LAW! I dealt with it.

A person can only be bullied if they allow it to happen. When in school I was one of the smallest kids in my class. I graduated weighing less than 130 lbs. but I was never bullied.
