I just got a Kindle as a Christmas gift and yes, it will eat into what little prime time I watch, especially since I can watch most of “my” shows within the week online.
If I read a review for a book and it sounds good, or want blogs delivered to my pc, all I have to do is go to amazon and request/purchase it. It takes less than 30 seconds for a book to be delivered to my Kindle. On a night like tonight, I might have caught part of 20/20, but I just bought the book club book and will start tonight instead of stopping by the bookstore on the way home from church on Sunday.
Of course, this only happened with the ipad. ;) Hasn’t been happening steadily over the past 10 years.
My wife is a major book reader and I tried to convince her to get a Kindle for past 2 years. Got her one for Christmas and she is already hooked on it.
She went out and got the case herself and loves being able to have books delivered in 30 seconds or less, along with having 15 books on it already and available to read at will.
I bought my wife a kindle reader for Christmas. I am on my third Vince Flynn Novel as we speak. Ant Vince Flynn readers out there??
