Does anyone have any information as to what transpired with the Supremem Court conference yesterday regarding Obama's eligibility?
I have seen nothing and cannot even find information, even on Freerepublic...

Is anyone really shocked? Disappointed, sure, but even surprised? I’d like to post a few comments I made last night. They will mean nothing to the non-believers among us, but I trust the Christians will take heart:

I wish I could infuse all of FR with a wave of optimism. Our future doesn’t depend on seven or nine people in black. God has resources at His disposal these people never dreamed of. After however many temporary setbacks, we will prevail. Meantime, we have God’s peace to see us through. A good deal all around. :)”
Bottom line: we’re doing just fine. Obama is riding for a fall any way you slice it. His popularity is slipping, and when it hits a certain point, we’ll start seeing what we want to see. Till then, ignore the SP and keep your focus on Providence. God sees every detail of the future, which is why His time-line is not ours. His is perfect, though, and we’ll frankly be amazed and awed when we see it finally play out.
I would be shocked if any court got involved in these questions.
The Supreme Court sees a House of Representatives that is controlled by the opposition and that can, at any time it wishes, subpoena the Hawaiian birth records. If the GOP doesn't want this issue pursued, how can anyone expect the Supreme Court to become interested?

It’s all about timing. There are still too many people invested in Obama. When the suffering, from high gas prices, unemployment, inflation, etc., hits a certain point, things will start to shake loose. It’s hard to be patient but it pays off. We will see Obama crumble over the next two yeas. 2012 will not be kind to those who have been derelict in their duties, but it will be very kind to those who kept he faith and didn’t give in to discouragement.

I was surprised the entire thread blew up too. Usually the mod inserts a small, innocuous ‘zot’, and then lets us dance on the troll’s internet grave for a while. I have no idea why the entire thread went down memory hole. I’d have enjoyed reading the incriminating posts, but I didn’t get that chance. Oh well.

No one person or organization wants to be the first domino. That includes SCOTUS.
Like Watergate, the dominoes need a nudge that usually comes from the press/media. That said, remember that Gibbs directly told the pool to NOT report everything.

That’s a good analogy about the dominoes. Pretty much all Obama has now in the MSM and hardcore leftists (including unionists). He can hobble along for a while, but the writing is on the wall. Not to be crass, but he who laughs last laughs best. It’s impossible to laugh at the crippling damage Obama is doing right now. It will, however, be immanently possible to laugh at all those who have propped Obama up and/or refused to do their jobs. When Obama goes down, he’ll take a lot of sorry fans and enablers with him.
