"He watched them all hatch and he was so curious," Paull told the newspaper. "When we put them in the box, he just took one out and started cleaning them." I'm assuming that as they watched him "take one out", they were afraid that the scene would turn quite macabre.

A friend brought his dog to my house. The dog was curious about my little cockatiel as it waddled up to him on the tiled floor. The dog’s tail wagged playfully. He looked to his master a few times like ‘what is that?!’ Then my bird fluffed its wings. The wagging stopped, the salivating interest in my little bird began....the pupils pinpointed as the transfixed dog pulled forward on the leash....
