As long as the foolish insistence that there's a single geographical origin for so-called anatomically modern humans, and that it's in the fairly recent past, is taken seriously, there's no chance for that idea. :')

Myth, Religion, Archaeology, Mary Settegast reproduces a table which shows four runic character sets; a is Upper Paleolithic (found among the cave paintings), b is Indus Valley script, c is Greek (western branch), and d is the Scandinavian runic alphabet.
