Sarah Palin gave 5 points for American Military Action at Tribute to the Troops in Colorado

Palin Doctrine? Sarah Palin spoke at a Tribute to the Troops at Colorado Christian University.

"The Soldier fights not because he hates what's in front of him. But because he loves those and what's behind him!"....G.K. Chesterton

1. We should only commit our forces when clear and vital American interest are at stake.

2. IF we have to fight, we fight to win. We use overwhelming force, we only send in our troop into war with the objective to defeat the enemy as quickly as possible: We do not send in our military to stretch out the mission with an open-ended and ill-define mission. NATION BUILDING is a nice idea in theory but it is not the main purpose of our Arm Forces, we use our military to win wars.

3. We must have clearly defined objectives before sending our troops in harms way: If you can't explain the mission to the American people clearly and concisely, then our Sons and Daughters should not be sent into battle. PERIOD.

4. American soldiers must NEVER be put under foreign command: We can fight side by side with our allies, but American soldiers must remain under the care and command of the American officer.

5. Sending out our Arm Forces should be our last resort: We don't go looking for dragons to slay, however we will encourage the forces of freedom around the world who is sincerely fighting for the empowerment of the individual. When it makes sense and it is appropriate, we will provide them with support to help them win their own freedom....But we can't fight every war, we can't undue every injustice around the World.

Palin: The Stronger we are the more peaceful the World will be under our example....We must vigorously defend ourselves but at the same time not wear down our arm forces with never-ending and ever increasing commitments. I believe that America though, must never retreat into isolation, the World will be less safe and less free without our leadership and we must never forget that America has a responsibility to lead "TO WHOM MUCH IS GIVEN MUCH IS EXPECTED".

We can not be the World's policeman, granted or a door of ATM but we can lead by example, by our words and if necessary by our actions.....We need leaders that embodies the same standard that our men and women in uniform hold themselves...Remember, the true soldier fights for it is behind him. Behind him here is tradition, patriotism and it---it is not a need for a fundamental transformation of America but a renewal for ALL THAT IS GOOD ABOUT AMERICA!

She’s more presidential than the Great Pretender (hate to use the pun for a good oldies song).

So do I.

I would vote for her with that kind of doctrine. But there has to be more. Let’s see a Palin Doctrine for protecting our borders from foreign invaders, namely illegal aliens, and enforcement of our existing immigration system.

If you or anyone else has verifiable information concerning Sara Palin’s stance on illegal immigration, please supply it to NumbersUSA. For her public stance so far known on illegal aliens, her score is D-.

you need to get off that... she said to Greta explicitly that “our beloved Reagan tried amnesty and it didn’t work and it won’t work now”

The thing about the O’Rielly interview is that he was using a “hypothetical situation” and asked her “if such a scenario came about and we couldn’t send them back home what would you do?”

"Palin Doctrine?"

Cut & Run--that's Palin's Doctrine. Huckabee, Barbour & Romney fulfilled their oath of office. When the going got tough in Alaska this chick quit on her state and ran to Fox News. That's the Palin doctrine.

Yeah, she should have stayed in her position as governor and just declared personal bankruptcy over the never ending legal bills for law suits filed against her... /s

Damn right, she took an oath! That's what we do in the military, (I'm a vet), we take an oath to defend our country with our lives and we take it seriously. Men have sworn, served and died after taking that oath so you can't be surprised when I refuse to support a person who chose not to fufill their oath of office.

Have to agree with you on this one. After all, they were just hard-working, ordinary folks.

When she left office, they were a half million dollars in debt. This was the result of frivolous ethics complaints against her.

Due to a glitch in Alaska law, the Governor has to supply his/her own legal defense in these suits. She was $500,000.00 dollars in debt, and the State had spent about $2,000,000.00 on these same lawsuits.

It was also taking virtually ALL her time to fihgt these complaints, rendering her impotent as a Governor.

Yeah, she should have stayed on as Governor.

Aw come on man, enough with the PDS crap. Did Palin fulfill her oath of office or not? Stop pretending like it's not only noble to quit on your state, but it's damn near presidential. You need to pick another horse.

Debate the issue man, childish namecalling only diminishes your posts. Surely you have something intelligent to contribute...

You’ve added nothing to the debate, man-up and defend your position

In the past few months and weeks most PDSers have defended the likes of the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt, defended the Republican leadership after the govt. shutdown and/or defended Obama that he deserves credit for Killing Bin Laden! Why? Because Palin took or appeared to have taken a position opposite of those situations stated above.

If you knew that your enemies were trying to destroy you from doing your job, you would just sit there and lose? No, you would cheat them the satisfaction from destroying you and go after them instead on a higher plane...

Obviously? No I’ve got quitter issues. US Presidents don’t have a legacy of quitting. Why do you and your ilk think it’s noble to elect a Commander in Chief with a recent history of quitting on the citizens they swore an oath to represent. Surely, you must see the absurdity of your position
