He was perfect until the second batter of the 8th, and helped himself out by starting a double play to erase that baserunner.

Terrific performance.

I just looked it up, and there are 12 franchises that have fewer no-hitters than Nolan Ryan.

Before last Tuesday, it was 14.

Verlander definitely has more coming. Valverde is my favorite closer.

Max Scherzer is pretty passable despite being kinda freaky to look at.
