If no one catches fire, then we have an interesting situation. I do believe that this time in republican primaries the votes are apportioned. It is not winner take all. Not sure if that applies to all the states.
We could end up with a brokered convention with no candidate having sufficient votes to get the nomination.
If that is the case I foresee Christie getting drafted.
Personally, ( apart from Sarah Palin or Bachmann ) I have had it with politicians. We need a new start with a non-politician like Cain, or who knows who else might show up if the convention gets brokered.
Don’t forget the incredible Allen West!! I know that he’s not running, but he’s awesome. Bob
Forget the “non-politician” crap. That is like a non-baseball playing baseball player. You get into politics you are a politician.
It is a complete fantasy to expect amateurs to be able to beat professionals. And before I hear any crap about the Founding Fathers, even a cursory examination of colonial and revolutionary history shows that ALL of our Founders had deep and extensive experience in politics WITHOUT EXCEPTION.
Cain has ZERO chance to get the nomination. And a brokered convention means the most well known and influential politician will get it not an unknown amateur.
