The Seven Deadly Sins were taught us back in Sunday school
Wrath, Greed, Sloth, Pride, Lust and Envy were declared against the rule
And then round the Sunday dinner we protested Gluttony
But we stopped with seven, leaving out old lonely Vanity.
There she stands alone, a bridesmaid while her cousin Pride is wed
And she'll neck with Envy but she'll never know the marriage bed
On the Internet, however, everyone can be a star
So she posts her brave epistles on a website named FR
She's a blogger, she's a newbie, she's a meritricious troll
She's a greasy librul parrot with a Democratic poll
But she's here from noon till midnight, you will have to give her that
Though her threads all seem to end up in the forum labeled Chat
So wave to one whose focus is the everlasting Me
And we'll raise our glasses high and toast old lonely Vanity
So I thanks you all fer reading these here verse what I just wrote.
If I can't become a cowboy then I guess I'll be a pote.
Pride and envy, seem to rule the day.
Strange faces paint possibilities of anonymity.
Freedom without regard
A small town's party line.
Went fishing.
gone all day
Caught nothing
but knew what to say.
Lies or freedom.
all understood,
Liberty,
TO BE ME.
