Germany did declare war on the US post Pearl Harbor; but wasnt Japan the country that attacked us? I know this is a radical stance, but looking back on history did we get involved in Europe to bail out our friends in the USSR, and the United Kingdom? Hitler really didnt want war with the US and the more and more I read and study WW2 it seems like the European campaign was more of a humanitarian save the Jews and our Soviet allies. Stalin was begging the US to open a second front.
