1930’s Germany already did that.
First it was eugenics under the guise of ending the suffering of ‘mental defectives’.
Then it bcame slowly over time to weeding out ‘undesirables and genetic inferiors’ in the 40’s.
Then wholesale slaughter.
At that time, this country had a basis in the idea that our rights derived from God.
If rights come from God, the they are inalienable as the Founders stated.
In Germany, they had no such basis or background.
They felt, as you do, that rights derived from the state/government/man.
You see how well that turned out, right?
Our very heritage is against the premie of what you are stating.
You can call it flowery, but people fought and died for that idea.
While I will admit that modern Americans have had the revolutionary fire bred out of them, enough of us still have that spark to make life hard for those who’d want to cattle car us.
Those who agree with euthanasia would make it easier to do exactly what youstated as I quoted above.

At times, even something as inoffensive as being called a troll by posters (not you, specifically) who I have never even heard of, who don't even know what my political beliefs are, brings out some of my character defects. I overreact once in a while.
I do not enter into dialogue with you "moral absolutes" guys because I disagree with your politics. We would likely agree on practically every issue, I bet. Your modus operandi, your tactics, your tendency to turn discussion into the personal realm, is what gets my goat sometimes. You automatically assume the worst about people.
I can deal with it.
