"well behaved" children often upset "adults" because the kids are happy, smiling, laughing, enjoying their little lives and how any adult would not take pleasure from that is beyond me....

no one kicks smelly, loud, slow older people out of places...but kids are fair game...

and so it goes...our war on children and how "inconvenient" they can be....

Some parents have allowed their children to run around the restaurant, play “hide and seek” under other patron’s tables, poke food on other patrons plates, and scream at the top of their lungs for several minutes without removing them.

I suspect that the restaurant’s patrons have had enough of the “well-behaved” children described above.

I agree. Wow I feel sorry for someone so jaded as to find children offensive. That they are “snotty brats.” Course I’m a child advocate and love children. Sure I don’t like it when they act up but I also don’t like the way some “adults” act either.

I don’t think anyone has a problem with well-behaved children, but far too many parents let their kids do whatever they want and can’t control them when necessary because of not being used to actually parenting.

It’s about freedom. The restaurant owner has the right to make such a call, and any potential customers who disagree have the right to choose to eat elsewhere.
