It’s about being responsible for an animal you own. Not that you have to have a license for an animal. You have to have licenses for a whole bunch of things. Pets are your responsibility and you are expected to maintain and keep them according to whatever your communities’ standards are.
You act like this is the worst thing in the world. You must not know about the overbreeding and feral cat problems out there from irresponsible owners. If you’re going to own a living thing you need to provide a certain level of care and part of getting the license is about making sure the thing is vaccinated and sees a damn vet every once in awhile.
Sheesh.
Mr. “know who I am” is for more licenses for people to live their lives?
